Weekly artmaking combines observation and plant science with drawing, printmaking and sculptural techniques inspired by plants in the greenhouse and garden. Create artwork in the learning garden, greenhouse and Riverbank State Park’s green roof, with the work culminating in a Community Winter Show.

Bookbinding in the Garden: Learn How to Make a Sketchbook for Fall Musings (Part 1)
Join us for a free two-part workshop where you’ll make your own sketchbook from start to finish. You’ll collage the covers and fold paper into signatures, the bundles that form its inside. Then you’ll stitch everything together, ready for your fall musings.
This event is part of Art in the Garden. Critically and creatively engage with a diversity of artmaking techniques that open you up to deeper dialogue on place and your lived environments.
